Maybelline Superstay Eternal Rose Shade Review

My Take On the Product :

The lipstick finish on lips is not complete matte but has a cream texture. It hangs in between glossy and matte but bends a bit towards a matte look. The pigmentation of the formula is high with Eternal rose shade which is a gorgeous vivid pink on your lips. It will suit most of the skin tones as it has the exact brightness and not too neon or dull. I do not prefer this as an office wear but is perfect for an outing or a casual gathering. It has a fruity scent, which does bother me a bit but since it is not very artificial,it is manageable.

After application of Lip balm:

The Lipstick has a smooth texture and is soft on lips but dries up after few hours.My suggestion is to keep the mositure on by applying lip balm after few hours. It gives full opaque coverage in one or two strokes of application. This formula tends to settle in the lines and not very suitable on chapped lips. Exfoliate or apply lip balm before this lipsticks application. The color is transferable like onto glass and mugs. It lasts longer as the product claims. On a normal day with meals included, it lasts for 8 hours. But the color fades into a lighter shade after 5 hours.

Packaging:

It comes in a transparent bottle with a white cap. The bottom half is the same colour as the shade. This makes it easier to identify shade if you have more than one in this range of lipsticks. The quantity of the product is, however, abliitle less. Overall, I am not a fan of the packaging and think they could have done a better job.
