AeroIndia 2015 ~ Experience and OOTD

Ok, who doesn’t like flying objects? It has been my fantasy since childhood to fly high, thanks to all the superhero influences on us. But since it is not possible to fly just by spreading your hands and spreading your cape (Why Superman?) Hence comes the planes that give us a chance to fly!

I had always heard about how wonderful the Air shows are. But this was my first time to witness it myself. If only I knew that whole of Bangalore would want to visit it over weekend, I would have chosen to go on a weekday. The place was overly crowded, If I’m not wrong maybe a lakh of people. Also I had bought a general pass which costed 600 rs but there were no proper seating arrangements. I was frustrated with all these and not to forget it was damn hot!  So glad I wore Pallazos; Jeans would have made it worse.

But once the air show started, I had an amazing time! The acrobats by the aircraft were a pleasure to watch. I loved the way flights were free falling, also making some cool heart shapes with the smoke, definitely eye pleasing! I felt extremely proud when the aircraft flew through the sky with a trail of the tricolours. Almost had goose bumps! It is indeed an experience to be had once in a life. So next time if you get a chance do visit.

Brown Shades — FasttrackNow let me tell you what I wore for the event. The day was bright and sunny and I wanted something comfortable. So I picked a pair of pallazo pants and a crop top. Here is a selfie of the look:AeroIndia7

But obviously I knew there won’t be any shade and I had to be in sun for few hours, so I chose to cover my hands as well. I wore a cardigan on top. But the most important thing I wore is not seen in the pictures — a sunscreen! The most useful tip in summers is to never forget your sunscreen– never–ever!

AeroIndia9I accessorized with a funky neck piece to complete my look. And of course shades are MUST on a sunny day.
