Guilt Free Chocolate IceCream Recipe!

I go weak for chocolate ice cream… but every time I ate chocolate, I would sob out of guilt. One cup of chocolate ice cream has 286 calories and to burn those calories according to doctors we have to walk for 69 mins, jog for 29 mins, swim for 21 mins or cycle for 38 mins.

I had to look for healthy and guilt free substitute so that I could gorge on my favorite ice cream without having the fear of bloating or without having any qualms about break outs because sugar is one of the major culprit in causing zits. As I was in search for better options, the first thing I bought was cocoa powder. Then my hunt went on for a few months with different ingredients trying and failing, scaring my family with unique tastes. But I wasn’t ready to give up. Finally, I got the perfect taste with a few ingredients which made my ice cream exactly how it should be — tasty and healthy!

The ingredients are available easily in the local grocery store. It’s low on calories because we are using neither any sugar, milk, milk cream nor flour.

Chocolate is good for skin as it induces estrogen.. But the culprit is sugar so I had to look for a substitute without compromising on taste or health. After trying many things, I zeroed on dates!


  • Cocoa powder – 1 tsp
  • Frozen banana – 1
  • Dates – 10
  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
  • Instant coffee – 1 pinch(optional)
  • Cashew nuts

How to Make:

Grab the frozen bananas, dates and vanilla essence put them in mixer and grind it into thin paste. Add cocoa powder and run through again. Roast cashew nuts, almonds and other dry fruits of your preference. Transfer the mixture into the bowl and top it with roasted dry fruits and its ready!

If desired u can keep it in fridge for about an hour and then consume. There!! Your guilt free chocolate ice cream is ready!!
