In this post,I bring you the review of SoulTree — A brand I made friends with through FabBag. The FabBag had a kajal of SoulTree and upon checking their website, my eyes wandered through the lipstick section. And since they looked pretty, I ordered for Copper mine and iced plum shades. Both of these incline towards brown in the color palette and my lipstick collection welcomed their new friends with open arms. There family is nearing to perfection!

This was a statement by SoulTree — “Though all our products are made naturally, using the best & purest of the ingredients it is recommended that you read through the label to make sure you are not allergic to any individual component of the Ingredients mentioned“. These words resonate with TEC policy to perfection and I cannot emphasize on this harder. Know your skin and be careful about it. Even the experts say so!
Packaging : The product comes inside a small paper box which has the shade number and shade name written on the top. The Lipstick comes in a matte finish mettalic container with retractable tip. The cap top has the shade name written on it. The package looks classy and is light weight too making it easy to carry around.
My Take on the product: The texture of the lipstick is creamy and it glides easily over the lips. It gives sheer coverage with high pigmentation. The color builds up with 2 or more applications. It gives a matte finish and yet the best part is it does not dry your lips. Lipstick on dry lips do not look classy at all. Exfoliate your lips and moisturize before applying this lipstick as like all matte lipsticks it does sit in between lines. It stays on for four hours counting the meal time. The color unfortunately, gets transferred onto cups.
Copper Mine Shade: This is a bright brown shade which will go well with both bright eye make up and nude make up. As the shade fades, its bends towards the natural colours of lips. There is a slight sweet scent after application which doesn’t last very long though. I loved this shade as it gives me a natural look and matches my hair’s copper color edges! Talk about lovely coincidences!
Iced Plum : This is a dark tan shade with wine red undertones which is best during summer. This shade gives a subtle look on your lips. The scent on this shade is quite different from copper mine shade. However, I did not like it much. You can compliment it with smokey eyes while going for a party!

I have been using natural bath and body products as well as skin care products from most promising brands for last 3-4 years. The passage of time while using these soap bars, body butters, shower gels, cleansers, massage oils etc have actually got me addicted to such skin friendly products & I really can’t imagine myself switching to toxic products ever now. But the only worrisome thought always in my mind is to find some organic cosmetic also. And Lipsticks are the only cosmetic I can’t do without. I am really falling for SoulTree products for their finest choice of ingredients that would not only enhance the beauty of the user, but will give a contended feel of using a intoxic product that never harms. The thing I like about soultree products are , They are natural free from chemicals and parabens.We need products which are made with natural ingredients not chemicals as they are harsh on skin .I had tried many ayurvedic brands which were too good .Want to try Soultree products too. Switching towards natural and herbal products with soultree.
