May 2015 Fab Bag Review

They say happiness cannot be measured. I say, bring me a Fab Bag and I will measure it for you.

Ladies! It is the golden month of May. The sun is shinning bright and hot over our heads and my May Fab bag came loaded with theme of Sun, Sand and Sexy for the summers.
I had subscribed for the May edition of Fab bag on 1st of may so that I could get hold of it sooner. Sadly, it still came towards the end of the month.

To begin with, I loved the bag.  The blue and white stripes will go perfectly with my denims!!

When I unzipped the fab bag, I could see only four products this time, including a bonus scarf. I love scarves because they spice up simple outfits. You cannot have too many scarves –ever! The bag also had one full size product and two sampler products. I was glad to see two skin care products as I’m more into skin care than makeup!

Be A bombshell One Stick – Sweetness: The Stick has black matte outer color and is pretty heavy in weight. The stick is formulated such that it can be used as a lipstick, an eyeshadow and even a blush. The product claims to be long lasting. It is chocolate brownish in color, the texture is smooth and glides easily on skin. I, however, did not like the color of it on my lips. Unfortunately, I had a similar problem with last two months’ lipsticks as well. I’m not sure why are they sending me lipstick in the brown range when they make me fill out a form inquiring about my skin tone, interest etc while I order my Bag.

Vienna Vidhi Oriental Rice Paddy Luxurious Face & Body Scrub:
Product description: This Scrub is exotic food for the skin. Devoid of chemicals, its formulation of luxurious oils will make your skin brighter, smoother and more radiant in no time. It naturally combats ageing, pigmentation and even tan.

I’m really looking forward to trying this one. Rice flour is a traditional scrub and the natural product smells like heaven. I am hoping that this one will be as good and effective as its natural counterpart.

Sand For Soapaholics After Glow:

It has a scent of medicinal plants which is quite refreshing. The texture is smooth and it does not lather up when you wash. You just have to massage this into your skin and wash off with warm water.

Fab Bag Bonus Scarf – Black: Although, I have made my love for scarves pretty evident, I was slightly disappointed with the scarf I received this time. The quality of the material is nothing worth mentioning and I was unhappy with the Black and Blue color of the scarf. With the summer theme, I would have preferred something lighter and happier.

The May 2015 Feb bag left me with mixed feelings. I am not disappointed, but I am not over the moon with excitement either. I liked two products and did not like the other two. Also, I expected it to have five products like every month, which was not the case this time. I will have to give a Thumbs down for this month’s edition!
