Oils, I always thought are meant for either hair massage or cooking purpose. I did not use it for skin care, at least, not knowingly. Mom used to apply coconut oil to my legs and hands during winters in my childhood and I used to hate how greasy and sticky it used to feel. But as I grew older, I realized how beneficial oil is for the well-being of skin. Inspired, I started using Olive Oil once in a while as my bedtime routine. Although the after effects were fantastic, olive oil is very heavy on the skin when you apply it. That’s why I was not really satisfied with it and my search for a good skin oil continued.
Although lots of skin oils occupy the market shelves, I zeroed down to the oil by Palmer’s. It’s been three weeks since I’m using Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil, not every night but alternate nights. Here is how I judged it.

Product Claims:
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil is an advanced multi-purpose skin perfection product that can be used all over the body. This preservative-free, lightweight formula contains an exclusive blend of key ingredients formulated to help improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, dry, damaged skin, uneven skin tone, aging skin and fine lines and wrinkles. Skin looks and feels instantly soft and smooth with this unique, non-greasy, non-staining formula.
My Take On The Product: The oil comes in a cute plastic transparent bottle. The plastic allows you to handle the bottle a bit roughly as opposed to a glass bottle. A flip cap makes sure that there is control over the quantity of the product and also avoids spillage. The Oil is golden brown in color and is very light weight in texture. It has a neutral fragrance and doesn’t bother the nose. It gets absorbed into the skin very easily but I usually massage it into the skin. It is non-greasy and non-sticky on the skin. I apply it before sleeping and leave it over night.
As the Oil claims, it does even the skin tone as I’m seeing the results in just 3 weeks. It also made my skin softer and supple the next morning. I haven’t applied it on scars or stretch marks so I wouldn’t comment on how it would work on them. I will not recommend people with oily skin to use it.
