Shopping is known to give an adrenaline rush to the true blue shopaholics. It’s not difficult to find these guys – they get a high by the mention of a seasonal sale and they know about every shop at almost every nook and corner of Commercial Street. They look for new stores and latest brands every time they step out of the house – you never know when the holy trinity of variety, style and budget come together and become their favorite shopping destination. Honestly, I am not very different.
When I am out on the streets, I am on a lookout for the new stores on the block and my super strong fashion network has let me in a secret – H & M is coming to Bengaluru! For the uninitiated, H&M is a Swedish brand that has already made its presence felt in Delhi and now that it has come to namma Bengaluru, I have some high expectations with this brand because it promises awesome affordable fashion. So you and I can stop hounding our friends and relatives travelling abroad with our demands and actually do some real international shopping with the touch and feel that one always craves for.
Ok, so now for the details – The Swedish retailer will open its first store at VR Bengaluru on Friday, 25 March 2016, at 11 AM. It is spread over 2 floors and it is a huge store. And I am talking quite huge – 30,000 square feet huge! A new location brings new fashion and timeless basics at affordable prices. Also, this is a place which has something for everyone – teenagers, children, men, women, people who prefer ethnic or people who prefer western. Everyone is bound to go satisfied and happy.

And because it is a grand store, expect a Grand opening too! There are going to be surprise performances, music and lots of goodies to win. The first three fashionistas will be rewarded with H&M gift cards worth Rs. 10,000, Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 5,000 respectively, while the next 500 fashion lovers in the queue will receive a limited edition H&M goodie bag and a gift card worth Rs. 1000.
