Patriotism in Indians oozes out at 3 occasions – Republic Day, Independence day and a heart-stopping cricket match. I have been a cricket follower as long as I can remember . And Of course, I have been a witness to some milestone cricketing events – the world cup, the IPL matches and all those matches that have sent my patriotism sky high! Watching every match is a treat for an Indian fan, but being in the stadium gives you a different feel altogether.
For the ongoing T20 World Cup, I had the opportunity to witness the match from the VIP Corporate lounge and boy was it a special feeling! To put a cherry on an already wonderful cake, I had the OPPO F1 in my hand so that I could capture all the special moments. As the National Anthem played, I had goosebumps on my body. This is by far the best moment I have experienced in the stadium. Of course, as the match started, I began my rendezvous with the OPPO F1 by taking selfies, pictures and videos.
I loved the sleek look of this phone. It has a 5-inch screen with a Corning Gorilla for display protection. It has a smooth finish with premium metal body. Butterfingers like me have to be pretty careful while holding it. As a fashion blogger, the camera is really a very important feature for me. This one has a 13-megapixel rear camera and 8mp front camera with multiple features in it. 13 Mp is obviously pretty cool and it also has a phase detection autofocus with an LED flash. I loved the way it color corrects in low light. It has some other awesome features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and panorama. It also has an option to make gifs without having to download a separate app for it.
The front camera has its share of interesting features too. It has a f/2.0 aperture lens. It is infused with a wide aperture and it also has a screen flash. This is a big plus for me because not all places where you would want to take a picture is well lighted. In this event as well, the stadium wasn’t the best lighted for audience but I could still manage some great pictures thanks to this feature. This one definitely makes a selfie expert! I have not edited any of the pictures, so you could see the exact clarity and details of the pictures as taken from phone.
It has some incredible battery life! When I started using the phone, it was charged 100% and after I clicked my pictures, made the videos, used and abused it to my heart’s content for 6 long hours, it still had a decent charge of 45%.
All in all, it was a brilliant experience to watch India win from the VIP Lounge with OPPO F1 as my companion. Also, can we take a moment here to acknowledge what a fantastic match this was! I am sure a lot of Indians would have found a few nails missing after that evening! Personally, my heart was beating so fast, I was afraid it would just fly off my chest!
