Keep it Casual with Off Shoulder Tops

Needless to say, I love colours. Colours are everywhere. It’s just that sometimes we are so busy in our thoughts and lives, that we totally miss them. I try not to. I love them to the extent that in my head almost everything around me is in colours. It’s always a yellow day, brown afternoon, pink evening and a purple night. My moods are a grey shade when I am gloomy and besides the moon, rainbows are my favourite thing in the sky. Of course, that transmits to my wardrobe. Summers especially are the seasons of colourful flowery dresses and just colourful outfits in general everywhere.  Hence, this post is dedicated to a recent outfit that oozes out a bright coral and wearing it totally brightens up my mood.

I like to style a single outfit in  multiple ways as simple hacks can give you different looks each time. You would have seen such if you have been following this blog. I was obsessed with crop tops so much that I have styled it with Culottes, midi skirt, Jeans, Maxi skirt etc and I’m still not over it. But currently, I’m crushing over the off shoulder trend, maybe because it lets me flaunt my collar bone and it makes me look really different. I bought this off shoulder top from Myntra with a size higher than what I usually wear and as you can see, I could not stop myself from falling in love with the colour of the top. The best part about off shoulder tops is the elegant neckline which easily transforms any simple summer look to a top notch effortlessly cool ensemble. And if you are bold and want to create some subtle sex appeal then you can show off your decolletage with an off shoulder top.

You can wear it with a pair of Denim shorts to create a casual yet stylish look. I have accessorised a bit here with studded pearl earrings and pearl hand chain. I have worn flat strapped sandals.

Drop just one side of the shoulder for some oomph factor. Here, I have tucked in the top to define my waistline and paired it with a pair of shorts.

You can also pair the top with Jeggings which are damn comfortable and you have yet another casual look. I prefer wearing tight pants when my top is loose.

Hats just transform the complete look. Put on your favourite hat and head out during day time to rock in an elegantly casual avatar.
