Add a twist to your regular outfits like a Fashionista

I have many articles to write and many shoots do to be done but this week I’m not in best of my health. Also with office, only on weekends I can go for the shoot. So today I thought to write an article about the outfits I have already worn to a few events. We live in a generation where peer pressure is way too high, what to wear is a very common question every girl faces most of the days. We are no celebrity that we will get all the designer wears to try on for every occasion. As I always say, being fashionable doesn’t mean you need to wear what is flashed on the ramp. You should be able to create an ensemble which is trendy yet you are comfortable wearing them.

Today, I’m going to talk about the outfits which we wear regularly, but if styled well can make you look like a fashionista. Jeans to humans is like how butter is to bread, it is the main outfit everybody owns. Check out Myntra Sale to buy trendy tops for very less price.

—  Tuck-in your tops/shirts with a good belt on your jeans, or wear a top that is currently in trend, like off shoulder or cold shoulder tops.

— Add Layers on the jeans, wear a tank top and add on your favorite jacket according to the weather. Either denim jacket, long shrugs, Mid length jackets etc. Wear a thick neck piece for more jazz.

We have seen many shirts being in trend like, boy friend shirt, checks shirt, plain white shirt and most of us own a few of these shirts. I, for a change wore this shirt in reverse after I had tried out a sweater in reverse earlier and people had liked it. It turned out to be pretty well and few other bloggers tried this too. So pick a favourite shirt of yours and wear them in reverse and flaunt your back.  You can also tie the shirt instead of tucking it in.

To the day when I wore the shirt in reverse Also, Happy July

— Mix it and Match it! Who knew a waist coat could be worn on a culottes and get featured in Polka Cafe Article? Thanks to my thirst for new looks, I tried this look and it definitely was a hit. I sported it at the Bangalore Fashion Week.

— Accessories play a major role if you want to look like a fashionista even without a great outfit. Here I have worn a Choker neck piece and a chunky bracelet on my tassel top and a ripped jeans. I have styled it with a bright hand bag in a color contrast to my top.
