Hey guys, how was Diwali and the long weekend? Mine was great as I recovered from fever and went to my Mother’s village and then to my sister’s house. Spending time with granny and kids lit up Deepavali even more this year. Festival calls for dressing up and this time I tried this latest make up, V-Face Studio by Maybelline. V-Face studio is the new range by Maybelline, which was launched to make contouring a everyday routine. If you love applying make up everyday unlike me, this is an must-have range for you.
There are three products in Maybelline V-Face Studio range which will make you feel that everyday #CallsForContouring :
V-Face Duo Stick(Maybelline New York Face Studio Contouring Stick)
–It is a duo stick; you can contour and highlight using just one product.
–The 2 in 1 stick gives structure to your face.
–It has a creamy formula that blends into your skin with utmost ease.

V-Face Contour Blush(Maybelline New York Face Studio Contouring Blush)
–It highlights and contours your face.
–The powder is very easy to blend.
–It is buildable and you can really enhance your contour after you’ve used the Duo Stick
V-Face Duo Powder(Maybelline New York Face Studio Compact Powder)
–Easy to blend.
–Completes the contour.
–Gives you the perfect tint for your cheeks.
Price: Rs. 500
I used the V-Face duo stick and V-Face duo powder in medium to dark ( brown shade), which is closer to my complexion. I couldn’t get my hands on V-Face blush, so I shall talk only about these two products. V-Face duo stick has a creamy texture, one side to contour and one side to highlight. It is very easy to apply, glides through the skin. Black shiny body looks very classy and the rotator brings out the product. However, the brown is not deep medium to contour correctly on my skin tone. Highlighter brightened up my T-zone and under eye area really well. It also gives a good coverage if you have tiny marks.
V-Face duo powder has two shades separated by a V shape, one to highlight and one to contour. First, Mix both the shades and apply it all over the face using a wide brush. This I applied after applying the duo stick. To contour it even more, apply the darker shade below the cheeks and on to the temple areas. Powder blends well on to the skin and avoids oil for a few hours. After the application, I had a very neat make up with full coverage, but not much of contour to speak about.
Maybelline New York has also created a special tool
for us, that makes
contouring super easy. So click here to learn how to contour for your face shape:

If not everyday, I would definitely wear this make up occasionally. But with this range, it is very easy for you to contour each day and have that fashionista look.
