Banjara’s Skin +ve Beauty Cream Review

Banjara’s has launched a beauty cream along with a body lotion in it’s newest skin +ve range. When we hear the word beauty cream, most of us think it is for fairness as we live in the world where fair skin tone is worshiped. But the best part about Banjara’s products is, it is made for every skin tone and not to enhance it.  Their campaigns ask women to be ‘proud of their colour” and stay gorgeous in it.
Banjara is an herbal personal care brand launched in the year 1993. It has more than 10 product categories to display and primarily includes herbal raw ingredients in their purest form to get the best of nature

Product Claims:

Banjara’s Skin +ve enhances the quality of skin to make it Gorgeous. With Pomegranate extracts, SPF 15 , Olive and Wheat germ oil, it will keep skin hydrated, build skin elasticity, repair skin damage and protect skin from both UVA and UVB sun rays keeping it young looking – whatever the skin colour. Unlike a fairness cream, Banjara’s Skin +ve Beauty Cream does not reduce melanin production or inhibit any enzymatic activity which may damage the natural defence system of the skin. It doesn’t contain any harmful bleaching agents, instead it contains essential nutrients that make the skin healthy and nourished to give Beauty from within.

Today, I’m going to talk about my experience using Banjara’s Beauty Cream:

My Experience:

Banjara’s Skin +ve Beauty Cream comes in a travel friendly tube packaging, it has a small funnel shaped tip to let cream out without any spilling. The texture of the cream is fluidy which is in between a lotion and cream. Cream feels light on the skin and gets absorbed in a jiffy. It keeps the skin moisturized for hours which is a must during winters. It has SPF 15, so it does protect from sun for an hour or so. This cream is so light that you can apply foundation or compact above this. I have been using this cream since two weeks and can see my skin being supple and hydrated. I have a sensitive skin, but using this cream showed no allergies or redness.

Since it is only two weeks that I have been using the cream, I do not see the spots reduction. On the other note, the body lotion in this range is amazing too. Not too greasy and just the right formula to keep my skin hydrated during winters.

Pros – What I Loved:

  • Gentle and non-greasy on the skin
  • Travel friendly package
  • Hydrates and moisturizes the skin making it soft and supple
  • It comes with SPF 15
  • Free of harmful chemicals, has herbal ingredients
  • Pomegranate extracts firms and tightens the skin

Cons – What I didn’t like:

I definitely suggest you give this beauty cream a try as it is meant for skin care naturally without harsh chemicals. It comes at very affordable price too.

I loved their recent Ad Video as part of their Banjara’s Skin +ve Campaign, which is an initiative to stand against the obsession with fair skin. It’s high time, we Indians realize that having healthy skin is better than fairness. Watch the video Below:
