With chilly winds during the day and colder nights to snuggle up to, it finally feels like winter in Bengaluru, India. November went by as a second summer so we couldn’t do much of winter styling. All the sweaters and scarfs were waiting to come out of the closet and the time has come to style them. I have already spoken a lot about leather jackets in previous posts, which is one of the essential article during winters.
Today, I shall show you how I styled a shift dress to be worn during the day as well as for cold evenings. Though the temperature has drastically dropped in Bangalore due to Chennai Cyclone, this outfit I wore when the days were still warmer and evenings were cold. Absolve my delay in writing this post, looks like I’m not catching up with the weather swings. People in Chennai, please do stay safe.
Wind in the air and through tranquil gaze, I felt very cosy in this dress. This dress from Max Fashion oozes comfort and style, be it a brunch or for travel you can pull it off very well. I have paired an ankle length boots along with this dress as it was not very cold that day. For travel look, I paired it with white sneakers and a bag pack. Also no layers added on for this warmer day look. Some accessories like hanging earrings, watch and shades completed the look.
In this second look, I have layered with a full length vest shrug which is flowy unlike the dress. Fitted dress and a loose or flowy shrug is a great match maintaining the balance. I have done minimal makeup for this look and went for brown shade of lipstick.
Scarves can be styled in multiple ways, checkout this video for a few styles. Here, I have styled a woolen loop scarf with this dress. I have worn it like an vest rather than wearing it in regular scarf styles.
