Holiday Season is all about meeting friends and family, chilling, going away to a beach. Exchanging gifts make it even more fun and makes us happy. I enjoy gifting to my close ones as it makes me happy and most of the times I gift myself rather than expecting from others. Be it my most expensive watch, two wheeler or anything else I love. Anyhow, moving on to this post I ordered a few items from Nykaa which got delivered on the Christmas eve and I pretended that Santa sent them to me 😀
Here is my beauty haul:
- Nykaa Matte Lipstick in 12 m Taupe Thrill
- Nykaa Matte Nail Lacquers in shades 118 and 126
- VLCC Almond Under eye cream
- Nivea Care Shower with Frangipani and oils
My love for Matte lipsticks are more than for the glossy ones. This Nykaa Matte Lipstick comes in a classy black case which itself has a matte finish. The cap is not like the usual rotating one but is a magnetic cap. The texture of lipstick is creamy, gives full coverage after two applications. Taupe thrill shade looked almost like a nude shade on my lips.
Nykaa Matte Nail Lacquers range I bought after seeing some amazing pictures on Instagram. The best part about these nail paints are the way it turns in frosted look within seconds of application. Its a true matte shade but they do don’t last longer. After 3 days, it starts chipping out and you will have to change or reapply. So I guess this range is meant for party wear and not regular daily use.
More of Netflix and less of sleep has brought back my dark circles, so I’m planning to use this VLCC almond under eye cream. It gets absorbed into the skin easily and is non greasy. It makes my skin feel softer in the morning after an over night application.
I’m very picky about my Shower Gels, I like scented ones yet should do a good job in removing dirt and dead cells. Nivea Care shower is one of my favourites as it makes my skin softer and does not make skin dry. The small particles in it acts like a scrub as well.
