Introducing Sukin Organics – An Australian skincare Brand

On a Saturday evening, after the Indian Test cricket match I visited The Ritz Carlton Bangalore. I was invited to check out the pop up store that was set up for Sukin Organics. Dean Sanon, greeted me warmly and took me through the range of products. I was happy to know that Sukin is a Natural skin care brand and I’m sure most of you would love this fact too! Sukin is one of the Australia’s favorite natural skincare brand due to the high efficacy, affordability, and availability of our products

Sukin maintains a strong stance on the environment and sustainability and have been certified as 100% Carbon Neutral, Cruelty Free, and Vegan for many years now, with all formulations being biodegradable and grey water safe in addition.

Sukin has Original, Sensitive, and Super green range of products which includes both skin care and hair care. Hydrating mist toner and rose hip oil are the most raved products, Dean added. Even Emma Watson loves this vegan brand especially the hydrating mist toner, Dean pointed to a review by Emma. While we were discussing this, Steve Waugh dropped by to pick up a few products. He then spoke to me about how much he loves this brand. By this time, I was very eager to try a few products myself. Dean did give me a box full of products to try.

Here is what I received in the box:

Chai Seed Oil: This product is part of their Super Green range which are derived from botanicals. It’s a 25ml glass amber bottle with a dropper to dispense the oil, so there’s no risk of too much oil spilling out. Small amount of it is enough to apply all over face. It gets absorbed into dry skin quickly.  I only used it twice but looking forward to see its results.

Body Scrubs:  I received two variants of body scrub, energizing and Purifying. Energizing Body Scrub has Coffee and Coconut and smells amazing.  Product is very thick in texture with large granules which feel great going across your body skin removing dead cells.

Hydrating Mist Toner:  It comes in a bottle with ease of spraying it across the face. I was running out of my current forest essential toner and found this as a great replacement. It is alcohol-free, and contains Chamomile and Rosewater which soothes, purifies, and cools tired skin. It can be used after cleansing, after make-up application or any time your skin is feeling tired, stressed, or overheated.

Hand & Nail Cream: I have not used this product yet but looking forward for manicured and pedicured nails this weekend. Main ingredients in this product are Sesame, Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, Borage

Oil Balancing Anti-Pollution Facial Masque: I received sachets of this and not the full product but it is very convenient if you travel a lot. It mainly contains Bamboo Charcoal, Avocado, Rosehip, Quince and Coconut so removes dirt and oil easily.

I wish this brand comes launches full fledged in India soon as it doesn’t cost the earth nor our pockets. This pop store was exclusive in the Ritz Carlton for a few days. What do you think of this brand? Have you heard of it before? Let me know in the comments below.
