How to Style Kurti as a Dress Feat Eternal Clothing

I wear a lot of western clothes on everyday basis and my cupboard is filled with more jeans, dresses and tops than kurta’s or salwar’s. Ethnic dressing has become more of an occasional wear than regular for me. I found some amazing pieces of kurta’s which are very comfortable to be worn on everyday basis yet look dashing, all thanks to Eternal clothing designer brand. 

When there is kurta’s, we always think about pairing it with chudidhar, palazzo or even jeans. I have shown you before how to style kurta in casual and ethnic way. Today, let’s talk about styling a kurta as a dress without worrying about bottoms.

Kurti’s normally have long slit up the side making them a little too risqué for wearing on their own unless you are on a beach in Miami somewhere. So be sure to choose your kurti right, if you want to wear it as a dress and be careful about teaming it up with the right footwear, however, or it could go wrong!

How to Style Kurti as a Dress

Look 1: High-low is modern type of kurti which almost looks like a maxi dress. In this type of kurti, the front hem is shorter compared to the back. The High-low kurti not only gives you stylish look but also adds feminine touch to the attire.  The material of this dress is Georgette and on has very pretty embroidery on the chest.

I have styled it with stilettos and added on an ankle chain. I have converted my neck chain as an ankle chain here. I love using same outfit or accessories for multiple purposes. This look can be worn at both casual as well as ethnic events. 

Look 2: A flared bottom kurti is very comfortable and is light weight as well. The Cloud Grey & Mustard color combination is very fresh and looks great during summers. The best part about flared kurti’s is it hides the heavy bottom. This designer embroidery kurti is also in Georgette material with crepe inner liner.

Since this kurti is oozing out too much of regular kurti look, I have styled it with a slip-on and a scarf on my head to maintain the balance. 

Look 3: This one looks so much like a dress without any effort as it is not having the usual cuts of a kurti. Inner liner is up-to the knee and the outer layer goes till the ankle like an overcoat. Beige Floral Viscose Georgette designer kurti has prints which are so summery.

I have styled this with golden straps flats and added on a palm chain to give it more feminine touch. You can wear this look for a function or a wedding.
