The Gillette Venus Breeze Launch Event at Bengaluru

We always look out for better features in each product launch than their previous versions. When it came to shaving razors, I couldn’t think of any new features getting added on to it. But, The Gillette Venus left me baffled when they launched Gillette Venus Breeze. It is a very innovative as it has gel bars attached to the blade making shaving experience much better.

The launch event was On 25th April, at the Oberoi hotel in Bengaluru. Though I reached late, as I mentioned in my socila media posts, I got the gist of the event from fellow bloggers and the PR. At the event, actor Kalki Koechlin along with Venus Beauty Experts, celebrity makeup artist Namrata Soni & celebrity dermatologist Dr. Rashmi Shetty busted some shaving myths. I shall talk about some of the myths in my next post.

Dr. Rashmi Shetty, Celebrity Dermatologist and an Aesthetic Physician, commented: “I am glad to be a part of this session where I can educate and interact with the audience and break the myths around shaving for women. Being a dermatologist, I can assure you that shaving is the most skin friendly method of hair removal. It is extremely safe and hygienic as compared to other hair removal methods that have chemicals and can permanently damage your skin. As per a recent survey, it is the no. 1 hair removal method for women endorsed by dermatologists across the country”.

I don’t want to miss out on living every moment, you can often see me scuttling around from here and there and back here.  Of course, there are things that I have to take care on the go – do things a tad more quickly than they are supposed to be done. One of these things is body hair. It’s been over a year that I’m using Gillette Venus to shave of the body hair whenever necessary and with this new launch i’m only more happier.
