BlueStone BlueBook Launch & Styling of the Peacock Collection

On a bright and lovely Sunday afternoon, fashionistas of Bangalore came together for the launch of the blue book from Blue Stone called as #BlueBookFever. Dressed in blue ourselves, it was an afternoon filled with fun, food and drinks. We took some time in knowing each and like always, I felt it was fantastic to know people who shared my thoughts and taste in the field of fashion. Later on, the host and BlueStone team spoke about their Jewelry collection. All the jewelry was showcased for us to see and no prizes in guessing that while checking them out, all of us were engrossed as if transported to another marvelous world of beautiful jewelry.

Styling of the Peacock Collection:

I got to pick the Peacock collection from the event and I thought I would showcase styling them in this post. The earrings and pendant can be paired up with a Salwar Suit or a Saree for an  nice ethnic look. That is — if you like convention. Since you and I belong to the rebel generation, I wanted to try something different. So I paired these accessories with my Maxi dress. Usually, if I wear large earrings, I keep the neck empty and  vice versa. But if you see my picture below, the peacock jewelry set is going really well with the outfit.

If you like to set the trend rather than following it, here is a different way of wearing your chain – Wear it as a tiara on your head. You can wear it when you feel especially experimental and dressy. I have chosen a golden chain but I am sure that a silver chain with this pendant will give a completely different look to the maxi dress – an Egyptian look maybe!

I have worn a big Kada( bracelet ) on my hand and the footwear too is a pair of golden flats which is very comfortable and classy for this look.
