Dungarees – For the 90’s Fashion Fans!

I’m excited to finally get this post written! A little about me, I’m a 20 something hailing from Bangalore. I’m a series addict; currently I’m obsessing over Game of thrones. Who isn’t? 😉 I’m a complete dog lover; I’ve adopted more than 3 street dogs presently. I love them to death! No literally, I hug them so often even though I know dogs hate being hugged! I also love talking and indulging in interesting conversations, clearly. My Motto in life is “I always believe in following what my heart says”. Always listen to your heart because it works out of love and your mind works out of fear. So, I went where my passion lies, and I am blogging about it!

My Passion: I’ve always wanted to be a fashion blogger as I’m total fashion enthusiast. I wanted to do this to make fashion more accessible to women & also because believe it or not I love giving fashion advice, trying out the current trends and experimenting with different styles, be it western, ethnic or plain casuals, you name it! 🙂 So here I’m joining ThatElegantChic to kick start my passion.

Style to me is being comfortable yet stylish! I love investing in the way I dress and look because I believe if you look good you feel good! And I also try to do it without burning a hole in my pocket.

The dungarees effect!

There is a saying that nothing in the fashion world is really new, and this certainly goes for dungarees! Yes! The Dungarees are back! This childhood staple has been resurrected in multiple styles and HOW! From classic stonewash denim to cute dungaree dresses, they’ve gone all out. Talking about overalls, check out this previous post on Styling Overalls.

Short denim overalls are my favorite! I love how cute and adorable they look, giving off that western theme, yet when styled right they can look so current! These white ones are the best and the most versatile but I do have a blue denim one which I’m waiting to style!

You can never go wrong with the classic combo of Black & White. Here the white dungaree is styled with a black tee and some funky white vans Shoes. This is so very Comfortable yet chic. Ditch the accessories and be summer ready!
