I recently came across a korean skincare website in the Netherlands which sells a lot of good Korean brands. They have fast delivery, sometimes even the same day delivery. I picked Skinfood soft scrub and Laneige lip sleeping mask and today talking about this Skinfood soft scrub here.
Skinfood Rice Mask Wash Off
SkinFood Rice soft scrub as name says is very soft on the skin. This Rice Mask Wash Off exfoliates the skin without creating friction against the skin, which is what I needed as my skin is sensitive. I do not use any harsh exfoliators usually. The granules in this are really soft against the skin unlike some sugar scrubs.
I use this mask once a week, first scrub and massage the product into the skin for 5 mins and then leave it on for 10 minutes. Product doesn’t dry up but becomes transparent after 10-15 minutes of application. It leaves my skin soft and moisturized after washing. It does contain some questionable ingredients hence I did a patch test first as it didn’t cause any irritation or acne for me I continue using it. Product comes in a plastic tub without any spatula or applicator, so if you’re a germ-phobic this might not be a good option for you.
- Exfoliates gently
- Leaves your skin soft and supple
- Restores moisture in skin
- Smells nice(might be strong for a few)
- Leaves your skin with a glow for a few hours
- Contains alcohols and acid which can cause break out
- Doesn’t remove white/black heads
- Not great packaging
Please do a patch test before you use any product. This is my honest opinion after using the product for five weeks. It is not a sponsored review, however I received the product for free from Korean skincare NL website.

WOW! I have never heard of this rice mask. Before my wedding, I once made a rice mask at home by using crushed rice and mixed it with milk and applied it on my face. I got pimples after that. This mask sounds good to me.
